SAUK Dan Grade Preparation Class

These courses are specifically designed to prepare students who are intending to take a Dan grading. It serves two purposes, one is to allow students to practice the sort of things they will be expected to do on a Dan grading and, second, it gives George and the other senior instructors chance to see them in practice before actually taking a Dan grading.

Remember that, in Shobu philosophy, a grading is not so much of a test as a demonstration that the student is worthy of the grade so students are not normally allowed to take a Dan grading without attending at least one Shobu Dan Grading Course.
